Ngowari Diminas is the founder of CAFEW – Connecting All Female Engineers Worldwide. Ngo, as fondly called, obtained an Executive MBA in Global Leadership in 2020 at the Bauer College of Business from the University of Houston, Texas. In 2014, she got the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. Ngo received her Masters’ degree in Oil & Gas Engineering in 2006 from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland. She obtained her Bachelors’ degree in Chemical Engineering in 2003 from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She is experienced in the development and implementation of various Major Capital Projects in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Ngo is passionate about providing support to females pursuing the Engineering profession, encouraging those who desire to get back on track, and generally motivating women to sustainably remain relevant in their desired career path. She always reinforces the importance of staying focused and ignoring the background noise.
In addition to her strong work ethics, leadership skills, initiative and dedication to the oil and gas industry, she continually develops and seeks collaborative ways for many female engineers to excel professionally. Ngo participates actively in various charities, STEM and Business-related events as a volunteer, mentor, and/or contributor as required.
